Sit, Stay.

Finn is definitely becoming a big poser. Already he has mastered to sit and to stay. Now if I could only get my kids to do the same. A girl can dream.

Finley loves to hop in the bath tub when I am hanging in the bathroom. I'm thinking that is a lot of hair going down the drain.

Finley got a Valentine present last week from Taylor's sister, Iris and her family.  It's so cute.  It has hearts that squeak inside. He really loves it! He looks like a million dollars too.

A bed for Finn

I got this adorable dog bed for Finley at Harry Barker. It's a great company that believes dogs are part of your family and that they deserve the best our world has to offer.  I couldn't agree more.   I love the fun silhouettes and Finn loves how big and comfy it is.  I never knew I could have so much fun shopping for my dog.

Finns crate gets a makeover.

I couldn't stand looking at Finley's wire crate anymore so I found this awesome website called Mutthuttz, that makes these adorable custom crate covers and matching beds for dogs. It even has Finn's name embroidered on the top.  He loves it and it looks great in the kitchen too! Yeah!

Even though Finley seems to like his crate, I am thinking of giving it a makeover soon.

Finley got a bath last night. He was half the size under all that fur. I think he enjoyed the water. Looks like he'll be a swimmer like his cousin Danie.

Finn really loves the snow, and sticks his head in it every chance he gets. But after a long walk, he wanted inside.

Meeting new friends.

Finley met his new friend Higgins up at the lake over the weekend when Mom and Dad, Jen and Chris, came up for a visit.  I think he just wanted to take him for a walk.

Finley loves the snow, and we have had plenty of it the past few days. Today is sunny and beautiful, but he still wants to catch snowflakes on his tongue. Silly dog.

Even if the floor is dirty. Dylan and Finley fell asleep on the floor while I was making dinner the other night. They slept there for hours.

Day 26. The kids love Finley. They just want to hold him all day long. He doesn't seem to mind much. Taylor gets up early before school to feed him and let him out. She is keeping up with her end of the bargin..."I promise I will take care of him."

I think Starr is mad at me for bringing home another dog. I hope he gets over it.

Finley met our 12 year old Weimaraner Starr. They get along fairly well, as long as Starr wants to play. If not, he'll let him know he's not interested. I think Starr now realizes that the little guy is staying.
